About Felmont F. Eaves
Felmont F. Eaves III, M.D., F.A.C.S., leads the Emory Aesthetic Center as Medical Director. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Eaves’ leadership is apparent in his impressive accumulation of distinctions. He serves as Director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the board that certifies plastic surgeons nationally. Previously, he served as President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; he is currently a Trustee. Dr. Eaves maintains an exhaustive list of memberships in professional boards, foundations, task forces, committees, and advisory councils, including the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.Dr. Eaves has received numerous awards and honors. He has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America continuously for more than a decade, and his various recognitions for plastic surgery include titles such as Best Panelist, Best Journal Article, and Best Presentation. Dr. Eaves’ focus on patient safety and system and process improvement have resulted in major contributions to his field; he has published in excess of 100 peer-reviewed pieces, including co-authorship of the first textbook on endoscopic plastic surgery.
