About Farida Ali, DDS
I was raised in Northern New Jersey and attended Teaneck High School. I always knew I wanted to be a Dentist therefore I worked hard to get accepted into the prestigious 7 year BS/DDS program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and New York University College of Dentistry. I did my undergrad in 3 years and finished my graduate school at NYU in 2004. After that, I completed General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ where I was awarded Resident of the Year. I still continue teaching new dentists at Monmouth Medical Center today and I had the honor of receiving Teacher of the Year Award from MMC GPR residency. I participate in a local study club to earn continuing education credits and stay current with the latest techniques and technology in the field of dentistry. I live in Middlesex County with my husband and two children. When not treating patients, I enjoy reading, sewing and jewelry making.
