About Ernesto A. Lee, DMD
Dr. Ernesto Lee is an internationally renowned Master Clinician, Educator and Innovator in the field of Dental Implants and Esthetic Dentistry. He is the inventor of the patented S.M.A.R.T. Minimally Invasive Bone Grafting technique that is changing the future of bone regeneration of the jaws. Dr. Lee is a former Clinical Professor and Director of the world famous Periodontal Prosthesis/Fixed Prosthodontics Postgraduate Program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine; where he also served as Clinical Director of Postgraduate Periodontics and Director of the Postdoctoral Implant Fellowship during a 20+ year academic career. Under Dr. Lee’s leadership, the Penn Perio-Prosth Program flourished, regaining its pre-eminence among teaching institutions, while gathering an international reputation for its unique approach to the treatment of patients requiring advanced reconstructive and implant therapy. He is additionally a former Visiting Professor in the Advanced Esthetic Dentistry Program at New York University. His areas of expertise include implants, dentofacial esthetics, crowns, bridges and advanced reconstructions. Dr. Lee is one of the most respected Dental Implant experts in the United States. As the former Director of the Penn Postdoctoral Implantology Fellowship, he taught advanced techniques to specialists from around the world. One of the Delaware Valley’s pioneers in Implant Dentistry, Dr. Lee founded the Temple University Dental Implantology Center in 1989, the first of its kind in the Philadelphia area. Blending a unique combination of art with science, Dr. Lee has been internationally recognized as a leader in Esthetic and Implant Dentistry. He has lectured before some of the most prestigious national and international organizations, including the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Periodontics, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and the Quintessence International Symposium on Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
