Dr. Ernest Johnson graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1992, and practiced in Bay City, Michigan until 1999. He then moved to Phoenix seeking a solo practice. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Johnson is committed to continuing education. He believes that learning and mastering new dental procedures is important to delivering the best dental care to patients. Dr. Johnson is a leader in the field of CAD/CAM dentistry, known as CEREC. By helping teach other dentists and offices the software used everyday by Dr. Johnson in his practice, he stays on the forefront of this growing technology that provides one visit crowns and restorations. One of the reasons our dental office typically sees patients Monday-Wednesday is that Dr. Johnson typically lectures and teaches in Scottsdale as well as all over the country on Thursday-Sunday. Dr. Johnson has completed extra training in root canals, implants, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign orthodontics to provide most of the services sophisticated patients are demanding today. When Dr. Johnson is out of the office he enjoys skiing, biking, working out, trading futures, hiking, and playing golf. His home life includes his wife Vickie and their two Australian Shepherds Max and Audie.
