About Eric C. Haskins, DDS
Dr. Eric Haskins was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. With an innate passion for helping people and an interest in health, becoming a dentist was the perfect fit. He attended the University of Detroit, where he graduated, and went on to become a Board Certified DDS. An active member of the dental community, he has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and teaches Oral Pathology at Baker College where he is also a Clinic Coordinator. He has spent 35 fulfilling years helping his patients achieve their smile and health goals as a general dentist, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s certainly come far from his days as a bartender in a yacht club! Innovative and caring, Dr. Haskins is passionate about not only transforming smiles but helping to provide total systemic health for overall wellbeing. He utilizes holistic and natural medicine in addition to conventual therapies. He believes in exploring all avenues of treatment in order to provide the best individual care possible to each one of his patients. In addition to general dentistry, he also loves cosmetic dentistry and the gift a restored smile can give to someone. His proudest moment was when a nurse came to him distressed, having been told she’d lose all of her teeth. Dr. Haskins took it upon himself to give her the beautiful smile she thought lost. When Dr. Haskins isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 32 years, Diane, as well as his family and friends. With a love of the country, he likes to camp, hunt, and fish, and is an avid sketcher and painter. Whether making people smile in his everyday life or transforming his patients at Whole Dental, Dr. Haskins is described as loyal, honest, dependable, and caring. He believes in treating others as you would like to be treated, and his patients and colleagues will tell you that he lives that motto to the fullest.
