About Edward M. Galiczynski, DO
A native of Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania, Dr. Galiczynski graduated with honors from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and graduated with highest honors from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a one-year internal medicine internship at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania followed by a combined Dermatology Residency and Research Fellowship at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He has conducted clinical research on a myriad of dermatologic diseases and was a co-investigator in 15 clinical trials during his time at the Cleveland Clinic. He is well published in medical literature and has authored and co-authored several textbook chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. He has lectured at numerous local and national dermatology meetings and has worked and trained with leading experts in the field of dermatology. Dr. Galiczynski strives to provide the highest quality of patient care. He emphasizes the importance of good communication with patients and focusing on each individual’s concerns. His training and expertise are comprehensive and include general medical dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, lasers and light therapy, acne scarring and all aspects of cosmetic dermatology, including neurotoxins and fillers. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 Dr. Galiczynski was bestowed the honor of Phoenix Magazine Top Doctor by his peers. In his time away from the office, Dr. Galiczynski enjoys sports, personal fitness, reading, cooking, hiking, fly-fishing and time with his family.
