About Edward J. Camacho, DDS
Dr. Edward Camacho was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and has been practicing dentistry here since 1980. He is committed to offering local area residents the finest possible care that he and modern dentistry can provide. Over the last three decades, he has performed thousands of cosmetic, restorative and general dentistry procedures. Dr. Camacho enjoys getting to know each patient. He really cares about the health of his patients and when performing cosmetic procedures always takes their oral health into consideration. Dr. Camacho likes to practice the kind of dentistry his patients really need in the long term, so that they can have not only a beautiful smile that looks great, but also a healthy smile that lasts a lifetime. This means that with Dr. Camacho you’ll get dentistry that is precisely right for you. Dr. Camacho has dedicated his life to helping his patients achieve excellent oral health and beautiful smiles. He starts your dental care by patiently listening to you talk about your dental goals so that he can better customize your treatments. After a comprehensive exam, he’ll discuss his diagnosis in language that’s easy to understand – not “doctorese.” He will not only explain to you the treatment he recommends the most, but he will also give you alternate treatment options. He’ll then explain the entire process of the option you choose and answer all of your questions, paying special attention to any concerns you might have. Dr. Edward Camacho is a native son of San Antonio. He received his DDS right here in San Antonio from the University of Texas Health Science Center back in 1980. He spent the first year-and-a-half of his dental career as the Director of the Dental Clinic at Inman Christian Center. He began his private practice in San Antonio. Dr. Camacho believes that a dentist’s education should never end. That’s why he has extended training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implant placement, restorative dentistry, orthodontics, computerized dentistry, endodontics and laser dentistry. Dr. Camacho’s ongoing education, combined with his aesthetic eye and keen attention to detail, are what has made him one of San Antonio’s premier cosmetic dentists. Dr. Camacho and his wife June are very active participants in the San Antonio community and feel fortunate to be able to help in many different ways. They are contributors to numerous organizations that provide dentistry to the less fortunate as well as being supporters of human rights campaigns, literacy programs and anti-drug education.
