About Deval Shah, DDS
Dr. Deval Shah is a general dentist who graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2002. After completing a one-year intensive General Practice Residency hospital based training program at Advocate Illinois Masonic, she began working in a private practice office in Oak Lawn. During this time she also served part time on the medical staff at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital training future dentists, and later at the University of La Grange Park’s Dental Department providing care to underserved children at La Rabida Children’s Hospital. Dr. Shah believes it is of utmost importance to stay current with the technologies and advances in dentistry to provide the best care for you. She regularly attends continuing education courses and is certified in Invisalign. She is a part of the Windy City Seminars group, an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club. She also maintains membership with the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and La Grange Park Dental Society. Dr. Shah married her best friend from high school, and has two elementary aged children she adores. Her son loves everything sports and daughter loves music & dance. In her moments away from the office she enjoys time with her husband and kids, reading, traveling internationally and eating (especially when someone else has done the cooking). Dr. Shah strongly believes in preventative dentistry through routine checkups and identifying any issues before they become problems. She looks forward to the opportunity to be a partner in helping you achieve and maintain that healthy beautiful smile.
