About Derrick J. Dickerson, DMD
Dr. Dickerson opened his family dentistry practice in April, 2000. For over ten years, Derrick Dickerson, DMD has been providing the local community of Mesa, AZ with a wide array of dental procedures including Invisalign. Along with providing the patients of Mesa with excellent dental care, he also does humanitarian dental work with his father in third world countries annually. Dr. Dickerson grew up in California and Utah before attending The University of Utah and Brigham Young University. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997 with honors. He and his wife then moved back to Utah where practiced with his father in Pleasant Grove for two years prior to moving to Arizona. He then started the office here in 2000 and has enjoyed becoming an Arizonan. Dr. Dickerson has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education on dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign, and enjoys implementing that knowledge in caring for the patients that trust us with their dental health. He is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, where he is working toward a Fellowship Award. He and his wife of 20 years and their four children live in Gilbert. He enjoys golf, gardening, family travel and outdoor activities. He currently works with the 16-18 year old young men in his neighborhood in their scouting and church activities.
