About Dennis Teeking, DMD
Dr. Dennis TeeKing has practiced general dentistry at Pleasant Dental since 1996. He practices all aspects of dentistry including children’s dentistry, teeth whitening, veneers, root canals, crown and implants. Cosmetic dentistry is the foundation of his practice. All treatment is performed in a warm and friendly environment with the strictest infection control standards. His personal philosophy of dentistry is to deliver the best possible dental care while making the experience as pleasant as possible. Dr. TeeKing received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College and his Doctor Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He graduated with honors in crown and bridge. Dr. TeeKing completed a residency in general dentistry at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. Dr. TeeKing has furthered his education by achieving the level of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). This is a distinction awarded to less than 1% of the dentists in the United States. As a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. TeeKing has taken over 2000 hours of continuing education and passed a comprehensive 400 question rigorous exam. He has studied 16 disciplines in dentistry, including periodontics, orthodontics, obstructive sleep apnea and implants. As an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. TeeKing has committed to remaining current with what is new in dentistry and incorporates the latest techniques into his practice while providing the finest care in family and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. TeeKing enjoys staying active and can be found on the sidelines of the Newtown youth soccer fields and in the stands of the local hockey rinks.
