About Dean Vistnes
Dr. Vistnes completed his pre-medical undergraduate degree with honors from the University of California at Davis, graduating on the Dean’s List in 1981. He received his medical training at Stanford University School of Medicine, graduating in 1987. He then applied to, and was accepted, at Stanford University’s Plastic Surgery Training Program, one of the most competitive plastic surgery training programs in the country. After six years of training, he completed both his general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at Stanford in 1993. Appointed to a coveted fellowship, Dr. Vistnes did an additional full year of training in cosmetic surgery and breast surgery in Nashville, TN at the Institute for Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
