About David Y. Yonick, MD

Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. David Yonick is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon serving the Great Lakes Bay Region. At Yonick Plastic Surgery, Dr. Yonick performs surgical and nonsurgical procedures to enhance and restore the face, breast, body, and skin. For his experience and excellent patient care, Dr. Yonick was recognized as the top cosmetic surgeon in the area by Great Lakes Bay Magazine. He prides himself on producing outstanding results for his patients by restoring or enhancing appearance and functionality through listening to the needs and expectations of his patients. Through his rigorous training and experience, Dr. Yonick has obtained knowledge in a wide array of plastic surgery techniques and methods. He is especially skilled in performing breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tucks, liposuction, and mommy makeover surgeries. Dr. Yonick provides nonsurgical treatments to create younger-looking skin for his patients including wrinkle relaxers, such as BOTOX, and facial fillers, such as Juvéderm and Restylane. Dr. Yonick also provides facial rejuvenation with Sciton Joule laser, Halo and BBL treatments. Dr. Yonick received his Bachelor of Science in Cellular & Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan before going on to receive his Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical University of Ohio at Toledo. Dr. Yonick completed general surgery residency at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. During his general surgery training, Dr. Yonick completed a research fellowship at Loyola’s Burn Shock & Trauma Institute. Additionally Dr. Yonick received his Master’s of Science in Clinical Research Methods from Loyola University, Chicago. Dr. Yonick went on for further training in plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. He has since become board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Yonick is proud to have received recognition for his work in plastic surgery. He was named the number one cosmetic surgeon in the Great Lakes Bay Region by Great Lakes Bay Magazine.
