About David Sher, DDS
Born in Chicago, Dr. David Sher attended New Trier High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Illinois with his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Science degrees. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Sher spent a year in a general practice residency at Rush Presbyterian–St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. He has been practicing with the Dental Implant Associates since 1982. From pediatric dental care to the complexities of implant dentistry and the cosmetic improvements created in smile makeovers, Dr. Sher enjoys all aspects of his work. Dr. Sher is known for his caring, professional demeanor and his attention to patient satisfaction. Aesthetics and function are his primary concerns for each patient he treats, and an emphasis on minute details helps him in creating lasting smiles. Dr. Sher sees patients from a wide range of socioeconomic and age groups, and he works hard to treat all of his patients according to their needs, desires, and financial abilities. He guides patients in the multiple possibilities of oral health care and works with patients to develop a customized treatment plan. Dr. Sher is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has attended numerous courses on cosmetic, surgical, and implant dentistry, and he is qualified in advanced cardiac life support.
