About David C. Sackett, DDS
David Sackett, DDS is a second generation dentist, carrying on a tradition of personalized patient care started by his father “Dr. John”, in 1955. A native of the Kalamazoo area, David is a graduate of Portage Central High School. He continued on to become an alumnus of Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College and a graduate of University of Michigan dental school (class of 1987), blending divided loyalties with neutrality and good humor. This affability is reflected in the devotion of his staff, whose combined service totals more than 158 years. Dr. Sackett is an active member of the ADA, MDA and KVDS, attending seminars that teach the latest innovations in dental procedures and patient needs. While comprehensive care delivered in a family oriented atmosphere remains the focus of his practice, the latest trends in cosmetic dentistry are always researched. This includes Lumineers, Snap-on smiles, mini implants, and many more. David’s free time includes all the fun that comes with lake living shared with his wife, three daughters, and a network of extended family and friends.
