About David A. Croland, DO
Dr. David Croland is an Osteopathic Physician who leads the team of bariatric weight loss doctors and providers at Learn2Lose. He earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training at the E.W. Sparrow Hospital Michigan State University Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Croland became board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (1992-2018) and is also certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, the organization that certifies bariatric weight loss doctors in the US and abroad. He is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Croland is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. David Croland leads our team of weight loss doctors and providers at Learn2Lose Center For Weight Management, founded in August 2006. Prior to starting Learn2Lose, Dr. Croland practiced Family Medicine and Urgent Care since relocating to the Carolinas in 1992. His personal struggle with weight gain and eventual obesity led him to the specialty of non-surgical Bariatric Medicine and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, now known as the Obesity Medicine Association. By 2010 Dr. Croland achieved certification through the American Board of Obesity Medicine. This photo is a ’30 pound’ before and after of Dr. Croland posing with his eldest child. Dr. Croland has also received advanced training on the administration of all PRP procedures that we offer. All PRP procedures are personally performed by Dr. Croland.
