About David Block, DMD
Dr. David B. Block, a native of Delaware, graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry summa cum laude in 1999. From there, he completed a 2-year hospital-based General Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Wanting to return to the Northeast, Dr. Block took a faculty position at York Hospital in York, PA, and then entered into private practice where he has been for the last 18 years. Settling in Newtown Square with his wife and two children, Dr. Block joined our office in 2007 becoming a full partner and currently practices five days a week. Dr. Block, has been named ""Top Doc"" in both Philadelphia Magazine and Main Line Today Magazine, holds memberships in The American Dental Association, Delaware/Chester Dental Society, and the Academy of Osseointegration. He participates in Dental Life Network’s Donated Dental Services program which provides pro bono care to patients who would otherwise be unable to afford treatment. Dr. Block is a student of the Spear School Of Higher Education and annually participates in their continuing education programs. When away from the office, Dr. Block enjoys spending time with his family and small zoo at home(2 dogs and seven cats).
