About Dave Mcwhinnie, DDS
Dr. Dave received his D.D.S from Loyola University School of Dentistry. Prior to that he graduated magna cum laude from DePaul University with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Dave also completed graduate work in microbiology at the University of Illinois Medical Center, a mini-residency in restoration of implants, and five years of continuing education training in basic orthodontics. Dr. Dave’s professional affiliations include or have included, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Evanston Association of Dentists, The Conley Study Club, The Chicago Dental Society, The Illinois State Dental Society, and The American Dental Association. Continuing education is something Dr. Dave believes in very strongly. There’s a good chance his next course is only a few weeks away! He’s married with three children. Dr. Dave is an avid cyclist and prefers a road bike. He also enjoys flying paragliders and powered paragliders. Dr. Dave enjoys caring for his Dental Family by offering a wide range of services. His goal is to ensure that young & older patients receive the best possible care available. He only performs the wide range of services he offers when he can provide the best care possible. If a problem can better be handled by a specialist, he refers that family member to another doctor who he would trust with his own care or that of his wife and children.
