About Danielle D. Gehlert, DDS
A lifelong ‘Eastsider’, Dr. Gehlert grew up in Eastpointe and received her undergraduate degree from U of M in 1987, then continued her education and graduated in 1991 from U of M Dental School. She is a member of the American Dental Association, The Michigan Dental Association, and the Macomb Dental Society. Dr. Gehlert has survived cancer twice. Her experience as a child gives her a profound sense of empathy that she shares with patients every day. With a genuine gift for putting patients at ease, she is a champion of healthy and beautiful smiles. Dr. Gehlert is skilled in all phases of dentistry, with particular interest in cosmetic dentistry(link to cosmetic page). Her free time is devoted to her husband and three children, and she is active in Our Lady Star of the Sea church. Dr. Gehlert enjoys swimming, skiing, and gourmet cooking. Dr. Gehlert was voted as an Hour Magazine “Top Dentist” in 2016.
