About Carlos J. Puig, DO
Dr. Carlos Puig has been actively involved in the practice and innovation of hair transplant and hair restoration surgery in Houston since 1977, helping more than 10,000 patients. Dr. Carlos Puig is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a Diplomat, and Past President of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Carlos Puig opened Physician Hair Restoration Center which specializes in hair restoration / hair transplant surgery. PHRC is located in the Galleria, near 59 and Fountainview in Houston. Dr. Carlos Puig is also a founding member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), he has published and presented many papers, participated in workshops and surgical demonstrations on innovative hair restoration surgery techniques; and is a consultant to hair restoration physicians from around the world. Dr. Carlos Puig has served as chair of the ISHRS Fellowship Training Committee, and currently is the Medical Director of an active ISHRS Fellowship Training Program. An ardent student of Six Sigma and Continuous Quality Improvement, Dr. Carlos Puig has trained his entire staff on the importance of consistently providing the highest quality patient care.
