About Carlos A. Alonso, DDS
Dr. Alonso graduated magna cum laude and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2002 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University. In furthering his education, Dr. Alonso has completed both the Advanced Restorative Series and Masters Program at the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (C.A.R.D.) and is currently a member of the teaching faculty. Dr. Alonso has been practicing family dentistry since graduating, and is a member the Greater Houston Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Alonso is also proud to be a member of the Sugar Land Skeeters Medical Team. A perpetual learner and student, Dr. Alonso stays abreast of the latest dental advances on behalf of his patients. He has been trained in many innovative restorative and cosmetic procedures including TMJ dentistry, treatment of facial pain, treatment of complex restorative procedures, and treatment of complex cosmetic procedures. Dr. Alonso and his wife, Celina, are very active in many community organizations and programs such as: the Community Based Leadership Team at Palmer Elementary and the Fort Bend Business Networking International group. Dr. Alonso enjoys traveling and sports. Dr. Alonso is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. Dr. Carlos Alonso is a leader in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and is located in the Missouri City/Sugar Land area across from Sienna Plantation. As a member of the teaching faculty at the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Alonso has not only been trained by some of the best cosmetic and restorative dentists in the world, but he also instructs other dentists on the latest techniques and procedures in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. There are many dental clinics and offices, but what sets Dr. Alonso apart is his continued desire to improve and perfect his techniques by taking the best continuing education available, using the best materials and laboratories available, and always communicating with his patients so they have a full understanding of what their options are and what their expectations should be. Dr. Alonso’s goal is to always meet or exceed a patient’s expectations and the most satisfying part of his career is when his patients go home with a big smile.
