About Bruce Nghiem, DMD
Dr. Bruce Nghiem graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Residency at the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine. In addition, he completed a rigorous three-year training program at the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry in the specialty of prosthodontics. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Nghiem focuses on esthetic and prosthetic reconstruction. Prosthodontics is one of nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. Dr. Nghiem served on the Board of the Hartford Dental Society, Past President of Hartford Dental Society, Trustee of McManus Fund, and the founder of the Farmington Valley Dental Series Study Club. He lectures at study clubs in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts to other specialists and general dentists. He also served as part-time faculty at the UConn School of Dental Medicine Department of Postgraduate Prosthodontics. Currently, Dr. Nghiem holds international, national, state, and local memberships with the American College of Prosthodontics, American Prosthodontic Society, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Hartford Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Besides practicing full time as a prosthodontist, Dr. Bruce Nghiem is married to his dental school classmate. He loves traveling, hiking, watching movies, and enjoys great food with his wife, his three daughters.
