About Bruce L. Nelson, DDS
Born in Ames, Iowa, Bruce Nelson, DDS is an almost native Arizonan, having lived here since 1960. He received his BS degree in Biology from the University of Arizona in 1972 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School in 1977. He has proven his skills in exceptional dentistry in a General Dentistry Practice in Phoenix since 1977. In 1986, Dr. Nelson completed a two-year post-graduate program in Orthodontics, and has completed numerous post-graduate courses in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ dysfunction, Cosmetic bonding and Veneering techniques, Laser Dentistry, as well as attending ongoing continuing education classes and Dental study clubs. He is also certified in the use of Invisalign orthodontic treatment. Dr. Nelson is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona State Dental Association, the Central Arizona Dental Association, and several other professional organizations. Dr. Nelson has been performing LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) for periodontal disease since 2003 and is the most experienced LANAP doctor in the City of Phoenix.
