About Brian Caraba, DDS
Dr. Brian Caraba graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental School in 1995 and has been part of We Smile Dental since his graduation. Dr. Brian had an early mentor and teacher in his father, Dr. Richard Caraba, who has been a lasting inspiration to his son, patients, and the entire We Smile Dental Team since his retirement in 1998, after a 30-year career in dentistry. Due to a back injury in 2017, Dr. Caraba has transitioned from direct patient care to training, leadership, and management with our We Smile Dental Team. He loves working with our team and developing their knowledge and skills of quality dental care. Teaching and sharing his knowledge and experiences has become a passion for Dr. Caraba. He is currently inspiring future dentists as an instructor at the Midwestern University School of Dentistry. He is also a strong advocate for community outreach. Besides practicing and teaching dentistry, Dr. Caraba has served the dental professional at the local, state, and national levels. He is a past Trustee of the Illinois State Dental Society, a past Delegate for the American Dental Association, and is currently a Director of the Chicago Dental Society. His hobbies include cooking, gardening, physical fitness, reading, meditation, and listening to music. Prosthodontic Lead for the Illinois Mission of Mercy and has been involved with the program for the past 5 years.
