About Brent Rigby, DDS
Dr. Rigby is a skilled and caring professional who will provide the type of dental care you have come to expect in a modern, comfortable environment. He offers a unique experience by utilizing his talents and extensive training as a prosthodontist — a dentist who specializes in the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth — to deliver comprehensive, advanced understanding to your treatment. Dr. Rigby received a Bachelor of Science in medical biology from The University of Utah and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Rigby then completed a three-year Prosthodontic Residency at The Ohio State University where he was awarded a Master of Science and Prosthodontic Certificate of Specialty. During his residency Dr. Rigby focused on comprehensive oral reconstruction and received extensive training in dental implants, removable prostheses (dentures and partials), and conventional fixed prostheses (crowns and bridges). While serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Rigby had the opportunity to teach and mentor other residents and dental students and maintain a passion for education, which he enjoys sharing with his patients. Dr. Rigby and his wife (one of our dental hygienists, Kristen!) love Austin and are grateful to be raising their family here. Originally from Northern Utah, Dr. Rigby has an appreciation for the outdoors and enjoys spending time with his family. In his spare time, he can often be found digging in the backyard with his sons, chasing after his busy little girl, under the hood of a car, or watching football.
