During his trip, the newly certified surgeon performed complimentary reconstructive surgery. In 1981, he returned to Mexico for a second trip which was organized by regional aesthetic surgeons and the Division of Aesthetic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. In 1989, Dr. Bradford C. Roberg, MD transitioned from student to scholarly educator by accepting the role of Clinical Assistant Professor of Aesthetic Surgery at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. For three years, he engaged in clinical and didactic teaching of the school’s medical students. During his time at Marshall University, Dr. Roberg was inducted into the Illinois Society of Aesthetic Surgery. Simultaneously, Dr. Bradford C. Roberg, MD operated under the private practice, Tri-State Aesthetic Surgery Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He stood as the Medical Director and CEO of the cosmetic surgery practice from 1985 to 1992. During this period, he obtained board certification as distributed by the American Board of Aesthetic Surgery in 1986. Dr. Roberg began his career in full-force, expanding his professional repertoire and network all across the nation. In the first seven years of his career, Dr. Bradford C. Roberg, MD completed lectures regarding Shotgun Injuries of the Upper Extremity during annual meetings for the American College of Surgeons and the American Association for Hand Surgery.
