About Bashar Snober, DDS
Dr. Bashar Snober was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. He attended dental school at The University of Jordan where he served as class representative. After graduation, he completed a six-month internship at The Ministry of Health and then joined a general dentistry practice in 2013. In 2014, Dr. Snober was selected for the esteemed residency program at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and he moved to Louisiana to pursue his dream of specializing in Prosthodontics and conducting research. While in residency he was elected Chief Resident. He graduated from the program in 2017 with his certificate of Prosthodontics and his Master of Science in Dentistry. Following graduation from residency, Dr. Snober split his time working as a clinical Assistant Professor at LSU Health Sciences Center in the department of Prosthodontics and practicing family dentistry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Snober moved to Austin in 2018 to join Prosthodontics of Texas. Joining the Prosthodontics of Texas team created an opportunity for Dr. Snober to reunite with his fellow LSU Tiger, Dr. Mendez, and he is enjoying the collaborative work they get to do together here in Austin. His fields of interest include dental sleep medicine, esthetics, removable prosthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Snober is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Equilibration Society, the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. He has received multiple awards for posters presented at recognized scientific meetings. When he is not helping patients in the office, Dr. Snober enjoys working out, reading, cooking, outdoor activities and volunteer work.
