About Bart Knowles, DMD
Dr. Bart Knowles was born in Royal Oak and raised in Lake Orion, MI. He graduated high school in 2004 from Lake Orion High School. Dr. Knowles attended Wayne State University where he received his Bachelor's degree in chemistry. After obtaining his Bachelors degree, Dr. Knowles moved to Boston, Massachusetts where he received his Master's degree in Oral Health Sciences from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Knowles later received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating with the highest distinction of Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry's Senior Student Dental Award for having exhibited the greatest interest, knowledge and proficiency in the field of general dentistry. While in Dental School, he founded BU GSDM's very first student chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Knowles remains a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, working towards his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
