About Bahman Guiv, DDS
It is hard to say why I chose dentistry, though in the 26 years I’ve been in practice, I have never seen myself doing anything else. I believe that everyone has to choose a path at one point in their life. I chose dentistry because I have always loved science and working with my hands, and I have come to cherish the relationships I’ve built with my patients and their families. My ultimate satisfaction comes from my patients having healthy, functional, comfortable and esthetically pleasing dentition. To have the right mix of individuals to make up a winning team is challenging. I feel very fortunate to have such a team. I have worked with some of my team members for a long time and some others less, but we have created a high level of synergy, affinity, and common goals between us, which aides in running a great practice. I was born in Rome, Italy, and lived in Teheran, Iran, New York, New Jersey, Utah, and College Park, Maryland before settling down in Howard County. I’ve lived here for 26 years with my wife. It’s been a wonderful community in which we raised our three children. My hobbies include running, biking, reading, and of course, spending time with my family and friends.
