About Athena Tosiou, DDS
Dr. Tosiou became a dentist to improve the appearance and confidence of individuals and to help eliminate the perception that dentistry has to be uncomfortable. She believes in continuing education, particularly courses that focus on cosmetic and reconstructive applications. “Dentistry affords me the opportunity to improve one’s health, appearance and confidence in a setting that can be personal and gratifying,” adds Dr. Tosiou, “At Downtown Dental all of this can be accomplished in a beautiful, state-of-the-art office with people who care about their profession and strive to make a life changing experience for our patients.” She attended Indiana University School of Dentistry dental school and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois Dental Society.
