About Anna L. Chien, MD
Dr. Anna L. Chien is an assistant professor of dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She also serves as co-director of the Department of Dermatology’s Cutaneous Translational Research Program, which unites dermatology investigators and conducts clinical trials with the goal of applying research findings to improve patient care. Her clinical interests include skin cancer (melanoma), skin aging and general dermatology. Dr. Chien earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed a transitional-year program at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and a dermatology residency with the University of Michigan Health System. She is American Board of Dermatology-certified and speaks English and Mandarin.
