About Ann Jayaram, MD
Ann Jayaram, MD is the newest associate of Mid-Peninsula Ophthalmology, located in Menlo Park, CA. She joined our group in September of 2016 and is our eyelid plastic surgery specialist. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is fellowship trained in medical and cosmetic eyelid surgery. Dr. Jayaram attended Stanford University where she graduated with both a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelors of Arts in Communication. She received her medical degree in her hometown of Chicago at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine intern year at University of Chicago’s NorthShore Health System and then a three-year ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University. Following residency, Dr. Jayaram completed a one-year intensive oculoplastic surgery fellowship at Tufts University’s New England Eye Center in Boston, during which she completed over 1,000 medical and cosmetic eyelid surgeries and procedures. Dr. Jayaram has a particular passion for cosmetic eyelid surgery and facial rejuvenation. She believes in performing a detailed and thorough cosmetic consultation to help you achieve your aesthetic goals, and goes through all possible options, both non-invasive and surgical, in order to find the right solution for you.
