About Angelina Anisimova, DDS
Dr. Angelina Anisimova was born in Russia and moved to St. Louis when she was 17 years old. She finished her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and then went on to pursue her doctor of dental surgery degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. After graduating she started working in a private practice in St. Peters, MO. As the mother of 2 daughters, Dr. Anisimova understands the importance of good oral health and nutrition for her family. Her goal is to treat all of her patients like family, and to help them keep their teeth healthy and attractive for a lifetime. She strives to ensure her patients can maintain proper nutrition, avoid the discomfort and health problems connected with losing teeth, and keep a youthful appearance as they get older. During her first 4 years of practice, Dr. Anisimova received extensive continuing education in order to be able to utilize the modern technologies now available to dentists and their patients, and to keep improving her skills. She firmly believes that her patients deserve the best possible care, and that digital x-rays, the intra-oral camera, computer monitors in her operatories, and using the most current materials possible, are essential to providing this. The technology of dentistry has continued to advance for the better, and Dr. Anisimova considers it important to bring these advances to her patients, as opposed to doing things the ""old fashioned way"". She also desires to build long lasting and trusting relationships with her patients, and to share her knowledge with them so they can continuously improve their dental health. Now that Dr. Anisimova has her own practice in Manchester, MO, she enjoys giving her patients smiles every day. She and her team offer advanced technology, cosmetic services, gentle periodontal care, and, most recently she has added a Cerecmachine, so she can provide crowns in a single office visit! In addition to cosmetic and routine dental care, Dr. Anisimova and team are passionate about taking steps to prevent oral cancer and oral cancer exams are provided to patients with each biannual visit. These are given free of charge because early detection saves lives. Every year the team attends a seminar dedicated to recognizing abnormal oral lesions that can potentially become cancerous. Most people are not aware that this disease is commonly found in its late stage. However, a simple dental exam can help find early lesions when they are highly treatable. A combination of constant continuing education and the most advanced technology helps Dr. Anisimova to provide the quality of care her patients deserve. Dr. Anisimova is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, St. Louis Dental Society, and the American Association of Women Dentists.
