About Angelica Holt, DDS
Dr. Angelica Holt grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Texas A& M University for her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Science. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the top rated University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Upon graduation in 2002, Dr. Holt married and moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she practiced for five years. She was happy to return to Texas after many cold, snowy winters in the Midwest and was especially thrilled to be able to live in Austin! Dr. Holt has been in practice in Austin since 2007 and happily joined the Northland Dental team in 2014. She provides a full range of both general and cosmetic dental services, as well as, being Invisalign certified. With her Colombian heritage, Dr. Holt is also fluent in Spanish and enjoys practicing it with her patients when possible. She continues to sharpen her skills and knowledge by participating in continuing education courses throughout the year. Her goal is to provide you with a stress-free dental visit where you can have your concerns addressed in a relaxed, comfortable and friendly environment. When not at work, Dr. Holt is volunteering at school or chauffeuring her two young daughters, Gaby and Mila, around to their various activities. Any spare time is spent practicing yoga, spinning, trying out new recipes, and traveling when possible. Dr. Holt’s passion for helping people extends beyond dentistry to her philanthropic work with Sammy’s House, a local non-profit preschool for special needs children. In 2009, she co-created the “Eat, Drink & Be Scary Ball”, a Halloween gala, which raises over $100,000+ each year! Being on the Board of such a worthy organization is a very fulfilling experience for her.
