About Andrea Sauerwein, DDS
Dr. Andrea Sauerwein was born and raised in Nederland, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she was involved with multiple organizations, including serving as her class Vice President.Upon graduation she completed a one year General Practice Residency (GPR) at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. This additional training provided her with hands-on opportunity for a variety of procedures including treatment planning, basic restorative treatment, removable and fixed prosthodontics, endodontic therapy, surgical procedures, dental rehabilitation for those with special needs, and proper management of acute dental infections. Dr. Andrea is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society). Outside of dentistry, Dr. Andrea enjoys exploring the outdoors, running, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Andrea is thrilled to be working with a passionate group of dental professionals, as well as with each and every patient.
