About Amy Urban, DMD
Graduating from Kansas State University in 1993 with a BS in biology, Dr. Urban began working for Bayer Corporation as a microbiologist. She then attended the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry to achieve her dental degree in 1999. After providing dental care to the city of Portland for several years, she decided to open Urban Dentistry in Austin in 2003. Amy’s passion for dentistry stems from a love of interacting with patients and building relationships beyond typical health care. She aimed to create a practice that reflected her style and values. That is why you’ll notice Urban Dentistry’s professionalism combined with attention to detail mixed in with some groovy personality. She is an outdoor enthusiast with four dogs and two sugar gliders and also enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter.
