About Amelia J. Wang, DMD
Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Amelia Wang received her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. She went on to complete her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine in 2009. She received post-doctoral training at Memorial Hermann Hospital and the UT Health School of Dentistry, General Practice Residency Program. Since then, she has been practicing dentistry in the wonderful state of Texas, which she now calls “home”. Dr. Wang finds that the most rewarding part of being a dentist is the opportunity to meet new people and to hear their stories. She has always had an interest in learning about other cultures and traditions in the world, and appreciates the cultural and ethnic diversity of the Houston area. Some of Dr. Wang’s hobbies include going to the gym, dancing, reading up on current events, and traveling internationally. Her favorite part of living in the Houston area is the opportunity to experience some exciting culinary adventures!
