About Alisa Becirspahic, DMD
Dr. Alisa Becirspahic, DMD graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Prior to attending SIU she obtained her B.A. degree in Biology from Loyola University in Chicago where she graduated with high honors. She has been in the dental field since 1999 when she began working as a chair-side dental assistant. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Becirspahic practiced in the St. Louis area, working as an associate for a general dental practice. She moved back to the Chicago area in late 2009 to be closer to her family and has been practicing in this area since then. Dr. Becirspahic is a strong advocate for healthy smiles. Getting to know her patients and educating them about their oral health needs is very important to her. Patient comfort along with superior quality dental care and aesthetics are her primary objectives. She has attended numerous continuing education courses to achieve these goals. She is certified in surgical implant placement and restorations and has completed numerous courses for advancement in root canal treatments. In addition she has worked extensively wit children throughout her career. She is fluent in Serbo-Croatian and Bosnian languages. In her free time she enjoys traveling, swimming and exercising.
