About Alina D. Delatorre, DMD
Dr. Alina de la Torre was born and raised in Tampa. After graduating from the Academy of the Holy Names High School, she earned her Bachelors in Science degree from the University of Miami. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Florida in 2005. While attending dental school, Dr. de la Torre was a member of the American Student dental Association (ASDA) and the President of PSI Omega Dental Fraternity. After earning her dental degree, she completed a one year residency in Advanced Education of General Dentistry, where she became Invisalign certified and studied at the Dawson Center of the Advancement of Dentistry. Dr. de la Torre is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. She is also a member of the Aesthetic Advancements from which she has received certification in both Botox Cosmetic and Dermal Fillers. Dr. de la Torre also enjoys being active at the state and local levels for the practice of dentistry where she serves on several committees. She attends over the required CEUs annually, and enjoys training at the Spear Education Campus in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. de la Torre is dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence, and providing the highest quality of care for her patients. Dr. de la Torre loves spending time with her husband Matt and their son Tyler. She also enjoys traveling, watching movies, shopping, and outdoor activities.
