About Alex Hoelzel, DDS
Dr. Hoelzel joined Nelson Family Dental in July of 2018 as a general dentist. Alex grew up in the metro Detroit area and attended Michigan State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Physiology. He then went on to Detroit Mercy’s School of Dentistry. After graduation, Alex and his wife, Brittany, moved to Grand Rapids and have called the city home ever since. In his free time, Dr. Alex and Brittany enjoy running, skiing, watching college sports and relaxing with their two dogs, Zoey and Ronnie.
