About Albert Olivares, DDS
My name is Albert Olivares. I’ve been a dentist for over a decade now and I love doing what I do. I’m a Texas native; born in College Station and raised in Kingsville. I returned to my birthing ground in 1988 and did my undergraduate study at Texas A&M University. Now the next part is hard for any good Aggie to admit, but I went on to the UT system to receive my dental degree at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. After receiving my DDS degree in 1996, I was accepted into the school’s general practice residency (GPR) 1 year program where I then stayed on as chief resident for a second year. I began my private practice career here at Austin Dental in 1998 and haven’t looked back since. I feel fortunate to be in a practice with a group of caring professionals with unsurpassed expertise. We make every attempt to surround ourselves with people having similar attributes which allows us to provide the highest level of care possible. I am happily married to my wife Destina and we have 3 children (Sophia, Diego and Mateo) that continue to shower us with joy on a daily basis (sprinkled with a little heart-ache and grief). We have 3 dogs and we love the outdoors and all Austin has to offer. If we are not out hiking on some of Austin’s great trails and parks, then you can probably find us camping in our pop-up tent at one of the near-by state parks.
