About Alan Wolkoff, DMD
A native of Beacon, New York, I received my B.A. degree magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1972. I graduated from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine in 1977 with honors. While a student at University of Pittsburgh I met my future wife Elaine who is a practicing speech-language pathologist with a specialty in orofacial myology. I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Greater Waterbury Dental Society. I have been practicing dentistry at 93 Wedgewood Drive, Waterbury, Connecticut since August of 1978. The success of providing over 35 years of dental care is a combination of treating the dental needs of a large demographic including all ages, a multicultural patient base, and provision of a wide range of dental treatment options. Our staff is well educated regarding the latest dental treatments and we are continually updating our technology to provide the best services possible. Our casual, caring environment has attracted several generations within the same family which adds a special quality to our practice. When not practicing dentistry, Elaine and I spend as much time as possible with our growing family. We are the proud parents of three sons, one grandson, and are expecting the birth of a granddaughter in April 2014. I am an enthusiastic NY MET fan, enjoy movies, theater, playing guitar, and attending folk concerts. We enjoy trips to Ocean City, Md and other beach destinations.
