About Alan L. Rankin, DDS
Dr.Rankin graduated from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1979.He then completed a hospital based residency program at University Hospital, (UMDNJ) in Newark, NJ, where he received advanced training in General Dentisty. Working in the emergency room, operating room and dental clinic, he developed a special interest in Oral Medicine and treating medically compromised patients.He has been in private practice since 1981 and at his current Livingston location since 1994. In addition to his clinical practice in General and Cosmetic dentistry,he has taught and supervised dental students and dental residents at NJ Dental School and University Hospital. Dr. Rankin is an Attending Staff member at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston,NJ and is a member of Essex County Dental Society,New Jersy Dental annd American Dental Associations. Dr.Rankin has been named to Americas Top Dentists Award by the Consumer Research Council of America every year since 2005. Dr. Rankin treats patients of all ages,from toddlers to seniors.He looks foward to meeting and treating you!
