About Alan I. Burch, DDS
Dr. Alan Burch is a restorative dentist who moved to South Florida in 1968 from Northern Virginia. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia in 1961, and served in the U.S. Army upon graduation. After completion of his military service he entered dental school at the Medical College of Virginia in 1963 and graduated in 1967. Following graduation, he completed further training as a dental resident at McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, Virginia and also served as a part time faculty member at the same time, again at The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry.Dr. Burch established his first office in 1971 in North Miami Beach, and ultimately moved to Aventura in 1989, where he has been practicing since.Dr. Burch has received extensive training in crown and bridge and aesthetic dentistry as well as implant reconstructions. He is a Fellow of The American College of Dentists, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. He is a past President of the North Dade Dental Society, a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Society, The South Florida District Dental Society and the North Dade Dental Society among others. He has been an Attending at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he instructed dental residents in crown and bridge procedures and presently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry Dental Residency program where he has instructed for many years.Dr. Burch presently maintains his private practice in Aventura, Florida, and is considered a leading dentist in his field of expertise. To maintain my patients dental health for life.”Dr. Burch has three daughters, five grandchildren, and his wife Nancy who has been and continues to be his office manager.
