About Adalene M. Chabon, DDS
Dr. Adalene Chabon has been immersed in the dental field since early childhood. Her mother is a Registered Dental Hygienist, so she learned the importance of good oral hygiene and compassionate care at a young age. During school breaks, she assisted her mother at her practice in Ann Arbor and shadowed her for hundreds of hours before beginning her own dental education. Dr. Chabon studied at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, which was ranked the number one school of dentistry in the world. There she was awarded the Francis B. Vedder Prosthodontics Award for Outstanding Achievement in Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics. Ultimately, she chose dentistry because it combines science, medicine, and art to care for people in her community. 'As a dentist, I have a wonderful opportunity to provide both preventative and comprehensive care. Every person is unique. Creating a customized plan for them is exciting. Your mouth is a reflection of your health, and everyone deserves a healthy, beautiful smile.' Dr. Chabon grew up in Saline, Michigan with her mother, father and two sisters. She lives in Detroit with her husband. Dr. Chabon also enjoys practicing yoga, gardening, beekeeping and painting. Dr. Chabon is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Spear Education.
