About Aaron Farrokh, DMD

I’m Dr Farrokh owner of East Cedar Dental. Thank you for visiting our website. I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in healthcare and own my own business. I was looking to set up my own practice in the Greater Hartford area. I took over an established practice in Newington and East Cedar Dental was born. I began my career by earning my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Rochester. After completing my undergraduate degree, I went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. I also completed a year of advanced education in general dentistry at UConn after graduation from dental school. I stand by my belief that “You deserve a beautiful smile”. My favorite part of dentistry is the aesthetic and restorative procedures that improve people’s smiles. Some of the most popular procedures are teeth whitening, crowns, bridges, implant restorations and veneers. I have expanded into improving patient’s sleep. My practice has joined the 20% of dentists now fitting patients for the Hearst Appliance or oral appliance for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). I am currently an active member of the American Dental Society, Connecticut State Dental Association, Greater Hartford Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Hartford Young Professionals/Entrepreneurs and the Newington Chamber of Commerce. I want everyone to feel welcome when they visit my practice, and feel that they are in a warm and relaxed environment. When you come to my office you will notice that we have designed the office to avoid the “cold clinical” feel that so many dental offices unfortunately have. I think it’s important to be a part of the community I serve. I currently live in Newington and am an active member of the community. In my free time I like to workout at Big Sky Fitness, travel, swim, read and spend time with my wife, two cats and friends.
