About Aaron S. Cetner, MD
Aaron Cetner, M.D. joined Flint Dermatology and Surgery Center in December 2011. He is Genesee County’s second fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon following Parrish Sadeghi, MD who practiced with Dr. Barkey between September 2009 and November 2011. Dr. Cetner earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics Cum Laude at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree also at the University of Michigan. Dr Cetner then went on to do both his internship and his dermatology residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He became board certified in dermatology in 2006. Dr. Cetner then did a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in Columbus Ohio with Dr. Ron Siegle. Dr. Cetner performed Mohs Surgery for a large group dermatology practice in Chicago, Premier Dermatology between 2009 and May, 2012. Since joining Dr. Barkey, Dr. Cetner has performed over three thousand Mohs procedures. Dr. Cetner and his wife Emily (a pediatrician) are happy to move back to Southeastern Michigan to be closer to their families and to raise their two children. Dr. Cetner is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Cetner will be participating with all major insurance carriers including Blue Cross, Blue Choice, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Plus Blue, HAP, CIGNA, Cofinity, Blue Care Network, Aetna, McLaren, Priority Health, United Health Care, and Tricare.
