About Yvette Tabangay-Nafso, DDS
Dr. Yvette Tabangay has been a lifelong resident of the Bloomfield Hills/Birmingham area. Dr. Tabangay had known at a young age while at Holy Name Grade School that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. She spent her high school years at Marian and graduated in 1989. Dr. Tabangay pursued an undergraduate degree in Physiology at Michigan State University and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Michigan in 1997. GO GREEN! GO BLUE! Dr. Tabangay returned to her childhood town and has been practicing in Bloomfield Hills since completing her Dental Degree. She joined forces in 2001 with her husband Dr. AJ Nafso after their first daughter was born. At that time Bloomfield Hills Dental Associates (BHDA) was established and has grown and flourished since. Dr. Tabangay and Dr. Nafso have 3 lovely daughters that keep them very busy. BHDA has allowed them to create an even balance between work and home. As a family they enjoy family vacations, golf and skiing. Pursuing that latest advancements in dentistry in important to Dr. Yvette Tabangay. She keeps her dental knowledge and skills current through continuing education courses in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Tabangay is also dedicated to the comfort and well being of her patients. Her primary concern is overall patient satisfaction. Dr. Tabangay achieves this by listening carefully to her patients wants and needs.
