About William G. Kaylakie, DMD
Dr. Kaylakie attended dental school at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Hackensack, New Jersey. He served nine and a half years in the United States Air Forces. His prosthodontics specialty residency was at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. This was completed in 1981 with a post-doctoral master’s degree in Prosthodontics and Biomaterials. Dr. Kaylakie was then stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base and moved to Austin, Texas. After leaving the Air Force in 1986, he established this current private practice here in Austin where he resides with his family. In his spare time, Dr. Kaylakie enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, grandchildren, and dogs from Heart of Texas Lab Rescue. He also likes playing the guitar and lute, as well as painting, drawing and wood crafting. When he has free time, Dr. Kaylakie loves to kayak on Lake Austin with his wife.
