About Walter G. Martin, DDS
Dr. Walter G. Martin is a native of Kernersville, North Carolina and moved to Charlotte in 2014. Dr. Martin obtained his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Hampton University. Dr. Martin earned his dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. After graduation, Dr. Martin accepted a two-year general practice residency position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is passionate about dentistry and improving his knowledge and skill set through regular CE courses. Dr. Martin is also committed to helping the underserved and is a regular Missions of Mercy volunteer. Dr. Martin is a member of the America Dental Association, NC Dental Society, and Charlotte Dental Society. During his free time, Dr. Martin enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling, reading, staying active in the community, attending church, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends. He and his beautiful wife, Brittney, are proud parents to their amazing son, Walter Jr.
