About Vassos B. Hajiharis, MD
Dr. Bill Hajiharis is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon that has been with Midland Oral Surgery And Implant Centers since 2008. Dr. Hajiharis is one of the few ""dual degree"" oral surgeons, which means he carries both medical and dental degrees. As a physician and a surgeon, Dr. Hajiharis treats a wide range of complex oral surgical conditions. His specialties in Oral Surgery include placement of dental implants, cosmetic surgery, orthognathic surgery, and trauma surgery. Dr. Hajiharis is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and of Wayne State University School of Medicine. Following his extensive academic studies, Dr. Hajiharis furthered his training in General Surgery, Anesthesia, and Oral Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit Children's Hospital, and St. John's Macomb Hospital in Detroit, MI. and Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Hajiharis was a faculty member for the Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has served as a delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society and is on the board of the Englewood branch of the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Hajiharis is married to Tammy and together have three children. Dr. Hajiharis is dedicated to the advancement of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through academics and in his private practice. He still loves to travel with his family and play golf.
